Terms of Service

These terms apply when you request a quote from, or purchase a service from, StudyAssigned ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What we provide

StudyAssigned provides academic support services for work that is, and remains, your own:

  • Editing and proofreading of your drafts (grammar, clarity, flow, academic tone).
  • Plagiarism and AI-similarity checking reports so you can review and revise your own work before submission.
  • Research guidance and mentoring: topic selection, research design, methodology, literature-review coaching and data-analysis help (SPSS, R, Excel, Python).
  • Thesis and dissertation formatting to university guidelines and to APA, MLA, Harvard, IEEE and Chicago styles.
  • Journal publication support: manuscript editing, journal selection, cover letters and reviewer-response help.
  • One-on-one tutoring and consultation sessions.

2. Academic integrity

Our services are designed to help you produce and submit your own work. Any editing, analysis guidance, formatting or feedback we provide is for your learning and for improving work that you author. You are responsible for following your institution's or journal's rules on permitted assistance and for declaring help where those rules require it. We do not provide services intended to bypass or defeat similarity-detection or AI-detection systems, and similarity reports are provided so that you can review and revise your own writing.

3. Quotes, scope and timelines

Every project begins with a written quote that states the service, scope (for example word count, number of chapters or sessions), deliverables, deadline and price. Work starts once you accept the quote and the agreed payment is received. If your requirements change after acceptance (new chapters, additional analyses, a new topic), we will quote for the additional scope before proceeding.

Deadlines in the quote are commitments. If an unforeseen event puts a deadline at risk, we will tell you immediately and agree a solution. Where a delay is caused by information or files we are waiting for from you, the deadline moves accordingly.

4. Revisions

Revisions within the agreed scope are unlimited until you are satisfied, including changes requested by your supervisor, examiners or journal reviewers. Revision requests should be made within 30 days of delivery (90 days for thesis and dissertation projects). Requests that go beyond the original scope are quoted separately.

5. Payments

We accept UPI and bank transfer in India, and debit/credit cards and PayPal for international clients, through third-party payment providers. Larger projects may be split into milestone payments as set out in the quote. Prices are stated in the quote and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Cancellations and refunds

  • If you cancel before work has started, we refund the full amount paid, less any payment-provider fees.
  • If you cancel after work has started, we refund the portion of the fee relating to work not yet carried out.
  • If we are unable to deliver an agreed service, we refund the fee paid for the undelivered part in full.
  • Completed sessions and delivered reports are non-refundable, but we will always work with you to resolve any concern about quality.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information, complete guidelines and the files we need, on time.
  • Confirm that you have the right to share any documents or data you send us.
  • Review every deliverable, because you are the author and the person submitting the work.
  • Use our services in line with your institution's rules on permitted assistance.

8. Confidentiality, no sample sharing and file deletion

We treat every project as strictly confidential. We never share any client's work as a sample, and we permanently delete your files after delivery as described in our Privacy Policy. These commitments form part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

You retain all rights in the documents, data and ideas you share with us and in the work you author. Edits, formatting and feedback we provide become part of your work on delivery and payment. We retain no rights to use, publish or display your work.

10. Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot guarantee any particular grade, acceptance, publication decision or outcome, which depend on your institution, examiners or journal. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with a service is limited to the fee you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Communication

Our primary channels are WhatsApp (+91 79820 12059) and email (info@studyassigned.com). By contacting us on WhatsApp you consent to communication through that platform, which is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve any dispute informally first; please write to us and we will respond within 7 working days.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you accept a quote applies to that project. The latest version is always published on this page.
