Privacy Policy

The short version. We keep your identity and your work strictly confidential. We never show any client's work to anyone as a sample. We permanently delete your files after your project is delivered. These three commitments apply to every client, on every project, without exception.

1. Who we are

StudyAssigned ("we", "us", "our") provides academic support services to university students and researchers: editing and proofreading, plagiarism and AI-similarity checking reports, research guidance and mentoring, thesis and dissertation formatting, journal publication support and one-on-one tutoring. 2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote for and deliver your project:

  • Contact details you give us: name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number.
  • Project information: subject, deadline, word count, university or journal guidelines, and the messages you send us.
  • Your documents: drafts, data files, feedback from supervisors or reviewers, and any other files you share so we can do the work.
  • Payment confirmation (for example a UPI or bank reference). We do not store card numbers; payments are processed by the payment provider you choose.
  • Basic website data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

  • To prepare a quote, assign the right subject expert and deliver the agreed service.
  • To communicate with you about the project, revisions and submission support.
  • To issue invoices and keep the financial records the law requires.
  • To keep the website and our systems secure.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use your documents to train any software or AI model, and we do not use them for marketing.

4. Strict confidentiality

Your project is seen only by the StudyAssigned team members who are working on it. Every team member is bound by a written confidentiality agreement. We will never:

  • disclose that you are, or have been, a client;
  • contact your university, college, supervisor, employer or journal about you;
  • share your name, institution, contact details or files with any third party, except a payment provider to process a payment you have chosen to make, or where the law compels us.

5. No sample sharing, ever

Many services show "samples" of previous clients' work. We do not, and we never will. Your dissertation, thesis, article or report will never be shown to a prospective client, published on our website, posted on social media or used in any portfolio. In return, we will not show you anyone else's work. We treat every client's privacy the same way: completely.

6. Permanent deletion after delivery

Once your project has been delivered and you have confirmed that you have received the final files, we permanently delete:

  • all documents and data files you sent us and all working versions we created;
  • the files attached in email threads and WhatsApp conversations related to the project;
  • any copies held by the team members who worked on the project.

Deletion normally takes place within 7 days of your confirmation. We keep only the minimum needed for invoicing and legal records (your name, contact details, the service purchased and the payment reference), and we delete those when the legal retention period ends. If you want deletion sooner, or a written confirmation that deletion has taken place, message us and we will provide it.

7. How we protect your data

Files are stored on access-controlled, encrypted devices and cloud storage limited to the people working on your project. We use secure, end-to-end encrypted messaging for WhatsApp communication and password-protected accounts for email and storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we restrict access, keep nothing longer than needed and delete promptly.

8. Your rights

Wherever you are in the world, you can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information and files (subject to the legal records described above);
  • stop contacting you.

Email info@studyassigned.com and we will respond within 7 working days. We honour these rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, for international clients, the GDPR and equivalent laws.

9. Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and some scripts from the cdnjs content delivery network; those providers may receive your IP address when the files are requested. If you submit the quote form, your details and any attached file are stored in a private spreadsheet and storage folder controlled by us (Google Workspace), and are deleted under the same rules as every other project file. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and governed by its own privacy policy.

10. Children

Our services are intended for university students and researchers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. The three core commitments (confidentiality, no sample sharing and deletion after delivery) will not be weakened.
